It is designed to balance vitamin and mineral deficiencies in forages and compliment oats or other non-fortified grains. 101 Diet Balancer may also be used on commercially-fortified feeds that are being fed at less than recommended levels. Choose 101 Diet Balancer for horses:
- On a hay-only or pasture-only diet.
- Eating a vitamin and mineral fortified feed at less than recommended levels.
- Eating oats, alfalfa pellets or any other non-fortified feed.
- That need a calorie restricted way to consume important vitamins and minerals.
- Needing a low starch and sugar diet (NSC content less than 10%).
